I really enjoyed The Odyssey. I'm not especially familiar with the original source material beyond films like Troy, but that didn't affect my enjoyment. I loved the first 90 minutes, although I did feel the final hour wasn't quite as strong, aside from the ending, which I thought landed really well.

It's certainly a fantastical film, and the battle scenes are spectacular. As you'd expect from Christopher Nolan, it's beautifully crafted, with gorgeous cinematography and stunning scenery. Even a weaker Nolan film is still exceptionally well made and expertly directed.

Thoroughly enjoyed The Invite up cinema, nice to have a packed screening laughing in unison for a movie.

Agreed, rather like Oppenheimer the final act did feel like it could do with a tighter edit but both movies well worth a trip to the IMAX for.

Hoping to catch a 70mm encore at the BFI or Science Museum.
