Re watched the first three or four Alien films. OMG the first one doesn't hold up at all. Number two good, the rest okay ok.

Outrageous take. But free speech entitles you to display that you're wrong about stuff etc etc

Eesh you’re a hard man to please. The first Alien is one of the best sci-fi/horror films ever made.

The new one is actually pretty decent too.

The first is a classic, what the hell are you on about.

The acting was stiff as hell. I remembered it much better. Still miles better than the last one.

To add to that, I caught the last hour or so of Forrest Gump the other week. fudge me that was a cringy watch.

I’d love to know your opinion on other classics like The Godfather, Pulp Fiction, Back to the Future, 12 Angry Men, Citizen Kane etc

Eesh you’re a hard man to please. The first Alien is one of the best sci-fi/horror films ever made.

The new one is actually pretty decent too.

Its one of my favourite franchises. The first two are class, the second shades it for me, just, but thats because I like the whole added dynamic of the Army and those characters

As much as the two middle ones (Prom and Rom) don't really travel on a story arc, I actually find myself like them.

John Carpenter is my all time favourite though, the Thing is one of the greatest films ever IMO, I am going back through his films, just such a class act

Yes it was the prequel it was ok but the original was excellent.

It’s been so long since I’ve seen the originals but I like Alien and Aliens. Even Alien 3 is underrated.

Prometheus and the other one (Covenant?) really disappointing.
