Next Manager?

Would be happy with potter

I didn't think I'd say this but if Potter is thinking of his long term career, he'd be mad to touch us.

1. He's clearly 5th or 6th choice
2. The squad is in need of a refresh
3. Kane will be going IMO
4. Levy has shown that we'll be run with the same fiscal conservatism that we've always been run with

This circus (deals falling apart for 3 managers) has made our club much less attractive to candidates. Yes we'll get someone and it's still a big job. But it looks a poisoned chalice to me.

so ignoring the current circus for a moment

- its' about cultural change, when you bring new managers/leaders/whatever into an organization, you do so because you want them in most cases to make some changes, however inherently people don't like change, so you will get pushback and the "but .. we always did it this way"
- If you don't have enough people at the right levels on message, it fails (most of the time cultural change fails anyway)

Management speak, why just stop at all the new blokes coaching mates sack entire 1st team squad and bring in players he worked with at last job, I've no problem with sacking people who cant do the job required, but draw the line at employing mates.

Gone from Conte to Gattuso in a matter of two weeks - only Tottenham Hotspur FC could do such a thing. :p

Seems we're intent on going down the Italian route and getting further and further into the bargain bin. Next up when Gattuso's deal falls apart because the "Joe Jordan Protection Money" is too much for Levy:

Just reading up on his management record

Won Copa Italia with Napoli in 2019-20, but two seasons before that he finished 6th and 5th with Milan

Not obvious to me why he's better than Fonseca. At least Fonseca has won more in his management career

It clearly has little to do with being better at this stage. He won't be as expensive.
