My Christmas Wish

Amen. What we also need is stability, not sacking managers every 18 months. Not Sherwood's biggest fan, but we have to get behind the team. COYS

My Christmas wish?

Hull draw with Man Utd at home.
Chelsea beat Swansea getting a few players injured in the process.
Sunderland get a hard fought point at Goodison Park.
Stoke battle well for a point at St. James' Park.
Under Pressure Sam Allardayce rallies his troops and get a valuable point against Arsenal.
Emirates Marketing Project obliterate Liverpool.
Spurs win.

That would mean the league table on Boxing Day would look like:

1. Emirates Marketing Project.....18.....38
2. Chelsea......18.....37
3. Liverpool.....18.....36
4. Arsenal.......18.....36
----------------------------
5. Everton.......18.....35
----------------------------
6. Tottenham...18....33
7. Saudi Sportswashing Machine.....18....31
8. Man Utd.......18....29

--

Which would then be bringing us into the following fixtures:

Emirates Marketing Project vs. Crystal Palace
Norwich vs. Man Utd
Everton vs. Southampton
Saudi Sportswashing Machine vs. Arsenal
Chelsea vs. Liverpool
Tottenham vs. Stoke

Asking a lot there Mumorn. I'll just take 2 home wins with some free-flowing Spurs football and goals. I remember not too many seasons ago we had two home games on the 26th and 29th December...A 5-1 win over Fulham on the Boxing Day and the 6-4 v Reading a few days later.
Now that was entertainment.

6 points from two attacking performances.
Fans getting behind Tim's team.
Confidence going into the Man U game.

In a way I'd settle for Emirates Marketing Project obliterating the bindippers. Can't stand Lollerpool any more.

Has peace and love broken out here? :D

Merry Christmas all. Have a good one and up the Spurs.

my wish is that the coach situation sorts itself out decisively and nicely. If its Tim - so be it. If its not, then hopefully we will avoid a media backlash.

I hope Sherwood won't be too obsessed with the attacking football and abandon our defending, especially against the big teams. I think we can get hammered if we play the kamikaze all-out attacks against the likes of ManU and Arsenal. And I hope Sherwood will be more ambitious than just the top 4 finish. We are just 6 points from the top of the league. So, we should really go for league title as long as we have the chance.
