Moussa Dembele

One wonders if Spurs won't get him on board by offering a loan or three from their reserve ranks. Surely there's a package of talent that can give Fulham what they need to stay up.

Moussa Dembele has passed a Tottenham medical and has finalised the terms of cut-price move from Fulham, Football Insider sources understand.

As exclusively revealed here, the 19-year-old was permission by the Londoners to undergo a Spurs medical on Saturday after the two clubs agreed a deal.

A Tottenham source has told Football Insider that the club will pay an initial £1.7million plus add-ons for the young striker.

hahaha .. Levy

Hmm and no mention at any point by these football insiders or our itk that he will be loaned back. These FI seem close to the deal what with them announcing the medical first and now the fee?

Could sky sources be wrong on this. Could it be the final thing to be decided in the next couple of days, dependent on loan players etc?

It's not just Sky sources saying it's a loan back....

It makes sense to loan him back imo, this is his first season of proper football. Let him finish the season playing every game for Fulham and have a full pre-season with us. It worked out well with Alli!

It might mean that we sign another striker as well, unless Poch think Son and Chadli can cover Kane.

I think when Poch has stated he has adequate cover in Son and Chadli he wasn't just saying this for the sake of it, and probably would be of benefit to all parties if he was playing at Fulham. I doubt he'd feature much this season for us but would be reassuring to know we have another striking option on the bench....

There is 0% chance that we'll sign another CF

Do Fulham even pick him that much? Thought he was on the bench alot

According to this site, he has started 22 of the 26 league games he's played in this season. Last season, he only started 2 of 11 in the league, the season before that he made 2 Premier League appearances, with 1 of them being a start. That's why I say that this season is his first proper season of senior football, and why it's probably a good thing if he were to get loaned back and get more game time under his belt.

Loaning him back makes little sense to me. Our superior coaching and conditioning are needed to bring him up to speed for next season and beyond
