Mohammed Kudus

If Frank knew he wasn't going to use him, he should've sold him in the summer and demanded a replacement on arrival. He would've had conversations with the Tweedle Twins before arriving surely. Johnson only went to Palace because he was effectively told to.
I agree he should have been sold in the summer, and thats exactly what i was advocating for. It would have made perfect sense, his stock was at the highest it was ever going to be.

He didn't not use Johnson because of fear, he didn't use him because he didn't rate his capabilities and like I said he should have either played Odobert there sooner although I understand him not as I also didn't think Odobert was much worth on the right (i've always liked him on the left) or brought in another option on the right. That I don't really blame on Frank as its just another example of this club going into seasons understaffed and undercooked. Its completely usual for us to start a season with only one quality wide option (Kudus), its what we do.

Kudus was with Romero, sat near the bench on Sunday, right?

I saw that a physio did a thread on twitter saying that Kudus had surgery a few weeks ago, after he broke down again I.e. he initially tried to just rehab his quad, but relapsed, then DID have surgery.

A Ghana site said he did have surgery. And missed out on the WC Did he have surgery?

Yet another Spurs player missing the World Cup due to injury :(

Poor for him, good for us

Good for us in the short term perhaps (assuming his surgery proves more effective than Deki’s) but potentially detrimental to our future recruitment process, as instead of Kudus singing our praises at the World Cup we might instead see players reluctant to sign for a club which has spent the past 2.5 years ravaged by injuries with no end in sight 🚑

Kudus, Richi, Senesi, Maddison, Deki, Palhinha (if we go early), Udogie, Solanke, Kinsky, Tel, Gray, Souza, Moore, Lankshear

RDZ is going to have a lot to work with in preseason, massive advantage to us.

Plus we must add some quality in the wide areas and forward line. Tel, Richy and Solanke is neither enough nor are they of the quality we need. It could quite easily be argued that, that is the worst front three in the PL.

no europe is also a blessing in disguise
probably less injuries from overplaying too
8 epl teams in europe ? who knows we might just make CL placings next season
