Lack of a coherent club strategy?

We are obviously doing something seriously wrong when you consider the tens of millions of pounds spent on midfield/attacking players over the last few years and a team that starts without Kane, Mason and Bentaleb is regarded as a weakened team

Yeah we invested in developing a good youth set up and then had two managers in a row Redknapp and AVB that had no interest in using these players.
They are gone. AVB lied in an interview about wanting to use young players.

Onwards and upwards with the new setup.

wow, what else was said in the interview?

were you in the room for Poch's interview as well, has he lied about anything?

;)

You of course right, but it still shows that our transfer strategy is questionable when you consider how many players of our players have depreciated in value over the past couple of years

Overall we have got a pretty good record on signing players and selling them on at a profit and of the 2013 signings I would have thought that we would only make a loss on Soldado and Lamela now.
