I'm living in Australia now. Considering the issues of racism in the very recent past, I'm actually finding that people of all race, colour and religion integrate very well. I haven't experienced any racism personally or witnessed it.

One thing Australia does very well is separate church and state. They are a deeply religious country but in general this doesn't reflect on their parliament.

So basically, I don't know what the fudge Julia is talking about! I agree with her stance that immigrants must integrate with the countries way of life, not the other way round. But I think it must have been an even slower day than normal in the Australian House.

Err, Julia Gillard is an avowed athiest. 'Our GHod.' Are you sure of these quotes? Makes me think this 'speech' is bogus. I have never heard her speak about minorities in these terms before.

It's one of those things that thickies racists patriots see on facebook and immediately accept at face value before emailing it to their friends on 23rd April.
