The things that Tonali is good at yeh, so we have. Given the profile of player we have I would not be now swapping out Sarr for him, I would be swapping out Sarr for someone else.
 
We have six players for two positions, Fernandes, Tonali, Gray, Bergvall, Bentancur and Sarr, on the bat brick crazy assumption that we are going to have a fairly normalised injury season, one of them realistically needs to be sold and not replaced, Sarr is the obvious choice out of those for me, but I suspect his future is tied into Bergvall’s.

And I think that's key. RDZ is likely to want a team of smooth passers and incisive runners - JP is neither.
Will always be very thankful we had him and wish him great success - but I don't think he'd fit, unless he was prepared to be a bit part player used to close games out.
I think not keeping him opens up more space for Gray to sit alongside Bentancur or Bergvall as the challengers to Tonali and Fernandes.

Glad he did not return to another premiership. He was, for me, our player of year last season ans seeing him on an opposing team would have been hard.... which is something strange to say for a one year loanee!! But we owe our Premiership status to him more than any other player.

Pity we could not find a place for him in the new Tottenham though I understand the reasons. In any case, he will be close to his kids in Portugal.
