Easily they have.
What annoyed me with Maddison was I felt he was hiding to a degree. At his best he's taking the ball from the two deeper midfielders and playing forwards. Was a lot of sideways and backwards yesterday and standing in positions where he couldn't receive the ball

And when we faced similar problems undet Conte we would complain that we did not have "lock picker", well that was Maddison's job.
Maybe we have to consider a plan B for when Maddison is off form or injured.
