Jack Clarke

NaijaSpurs

Les Ferdinand
I like the cut of his jib. E ven though he has not played in the Premier League he is just 18 years old and has been playing against men. I also like the fact that he looks comfortable on both flanks. He looks like he has a lot of potential.

Leeds fans seem somewhat contented to let him go - seem to suggest that another bloke in their ranks (Jamie Shackleton) will end up better than him.

A lot of it is apparently down to him not looking quite the same player after having a seizure while on the bench at Boro in February. If we are actually interested,we might want to test him more thoroughly than usual if that is the cause of it.

I asked a Leeds fan about him & he reckons he's all pace, not sure about the rest. I.e there may be more, but there's a risk he could be a njie

The interesting thing with this one is the Biesla connection. If we do go for him we have to assume Poch and Biesla have been discussing it, and that Poch knows what the player really offers...

“It’s probably the reason for the lack of transfer activity from Leeds so far,” [Noel] Whelan told Football Insider. “Do they have to sell before they buy?

“There is obviously interest in Jack Clarke from Tottenham. The clubs are in constant talks over a deal and talking to each regularly about how a deal could be structured.

“Leeds want £20million for him, which, even in this market, is a lot of money for someone with talent, but who has a long way to go.”

Basically that we were very close to signing Clarke and that certain bookies didn't take any bets on it anymore.

Leeds becoming our feeder team whilst he is there would be nice, they have some very good youngsters.
