So we are going to Sign Senesi, Van Hecke and bring back Luskovic. Whilst we have Romero, Danso, Dragusin and VDV. 7 CB's for 2 positions. I assume this means some are off. Dragusin can go. And if we get a big bid for Romero he can go too.
 
The CB’s we will likely end up with will be

Senesi
Danso
Van Hecke
VDV
Vuskovic
Davies

If we play 3 at the back then thats 2 CBs for every position.

It’s an old running joke on here, years ago a few posters got Jan and Toby’s nationalities wrong and it stuck, so Belgique's are Dutch and the Dutch are Belgique's

Oh and as an aside, the Dutch view Belgium a bit like the English do with the Irish when it comes to jokes and such

and Philips and Takai, not to mention we have a couple of decent Academy options in there as well

We'll need them all for the very realistic scenario where four CBs will be injured and Romero suspended.

Wasn't Belguim part of the Netherlands after the War of Spanish Succession until Napoleon was defeat?

I don't think vuskovic will return just yet. I don't want to see Davies there either.

I just hope vdv isn't off. Many suitors for him and maybe more than Romero imo.
 
Assuming Van Heck is open to signing for Spurs, what is the max we should pay for him? £55m? £60m? £65m?
Do his attributes mean that he is worth more to us than he would be to other clubs?

It depends. With only a year left on his deal, you’d normally expect a reasonable fee, but if other clubs are circling and he’s our number one target, we’ll likely have to pay over the odds.

He could be our Van Dijk, or he could be the next Titus Bramble. Until he’s actually playing for us, nobody really knows.
