J P van Hecke

Not a big fan of his 'hold the scarf 'unveil from our social media team

I hope they are Pork and Red Onion

Data grab comparing him to Romero (oh so Spurs youtube channel)

Basically, very good player all round, can pass, can defend, one weakness is in the air

That does concern me. VDV and van Hecke as first choice CBs and neither good in the air. I don't think Senesi is great in the air either. Everybody getting carried away with 'progressive passing' and 'progressive ball carrying' when the primary requirement is two players that can defend

Thats why we have Danso.

In a weak as tinkle league
Let’s be honest
We played the team that came second in that league and were comfortable winners even though we were brick

Of course, but it takes gumption and one hell of alot of talent to go on loan to two clubs at 17 then 18 to be the best CB in the league, both years. The lad is special......no two ways about it

Everywhere he has played he’s been the best player. Since he was 12 years old playing U16 in Croatia. Men’s football at 16 in Poland. Belgium Legaue. Bundesliga at Hamburg. He’s always stepped up.

He looked better than both than Romero and Van De Ven when we played them, he cause panic in our defence at set pieces.

Fully agree
But it’s one step at a time and I think it’s super easy to get carried away
He has shown class at the levels he has played
He will also be playing at the WC I think
