The odds on Marco Rose being our next manager have been slashed on BV
rewritten with AI sounds betterMarco Rose (born 11 September 1976) is a German professional football manager who was most recently the manager of RB Leipzig, and a former player who was a defender
Managerial style
Rose has described the basic ideas of his playing style as "emotionality, hunger and being active". "We want to be very active against the ball, sprint a lot. We want to win high balls and have short ways to the goal. We don't want to play high and wide, but fast, dynamic and actively forward."
He has stated his preference for a 4–4–2 diamond, saying "I've always played a diamond when I've had the opportunity to do it, bringing in two strikers. Our system, even when we play with all three up front, is something like a diamond." However he has also used 4–3–3 and 4–2–3–1 formations at Mönchengladbach.
I think if it was Heitinga they would have announced him already. They had no contingency plan i bet. We'll probably wait a week before announcing Heitinga as interim.

so a joe lewis grandson told vinai and lange to sack TF, coz they didnt want to sack him
right, scramble time! so not a footballing person making footballing decisions as we all suspected since DL days
a bit of time before the NLD but we also have long term injuries e.g. odobert is out for the season, dunno when others are back neither did TF
we will need a miracle! eleven Archie Grays please - anybody got a clone machine and fast growth potion?
Where has this come from?

I find it impossible to believe that there hadn't been real thought into who could replace Frank well before he was actually sackedObviously there has been talk of Poch returning but with the problem of the world cup....
The Premier league finishes on 24 May and the world cup starts on 11 June and i had this thought yesterday...
Most world cup managers wont have their players for very long after the European season ends. So why cant he take over now , perhaps in ' a special advisory capacity' , with an agreement that as soon as he gets us statistically safe from relegation he goes back to his USA responsibilities and leaves his assistant in charge...
He could then formally take over after the world cup having already advised the board the players he wants to get rid of and the ones he wants to buy.....
Am I being naive about this and/or would contract obligations prevent it? I am prepared for being shot down in flames...
Anyway, my missus thinks it must be quite easy to take over Spurs now as we've only got 12 fit or available outfield players so no real tough decisions to make.....
COYS.
Hiddink did similar with Chelsea and Russia. And also with PSV and KoreaObviously there has been talk of Poch returning but with the problem of the world cup....

I think they are trying to find someone other than Heitinga and he is the fallback.
So it could be done then..... That's goodHiddink did similar with Chelsea and Russia. And also with PSV and Korea
Obviously not the same level, but just been announced Northern Ireland manager joining Blackburn in a joint role until end of season.....So it could be done then..... That's good
