He's the greatest English player of all time. Absolutely no doubt. How that is still a debate is beyond me!
It's a debate because he is a Spurs boy, it will always be a debate because of everyone hatred for Spurs. Shearer gets the title of the best premier league striker ever because Saudi Sportswashing Machine are a neutral, no one gives a fudge about Saudi Sportswashing Machine. Same for Rooney at United, he get vastly underrated because he was a United player.

BBC News just said “Some say that he’s one of England’s best”
Come on ffs, he is England’s best! I’m not even English. Is there an argument? Who are his rivals? Hurst?

I think it's still a Moore, Charlton, Kane debate for some. Less so Greaves because he never made that WC final. Shilts would be in with a shout.

I genuinely think the most talented was Gazza, but I don't think he's the best. That probably is Kane at this point.
