Well the start of the second half was much better but I felt that the longer the half went on, the more cautious we got. I had noticed that we had all 11 players about 30 yards from our goal just before the second equaliser and we were doing that again just before we broke for the 4th goal. I think the media and pundits are going way overboard about how good we were in the second half; great for part of it but still too many times we were passing across the back four and defensive midfielders and the first thought was to go backwards. Liked Djed's attitude though.

Thought Tuchel got his subs spot on, and Spence was an excellent boost for England off the bench (unlucky not to score).
Yes, when we play in the heat it will be a different game for sure, however we have to be happy with this start, especially against one of the ranked 'stronger' teams (Croatia looked old in all honesty)...the defence needs to get it's head on for sure. The way James went walkies to the middle leaving his man so open reminded me of...errr...some of our defending???
