There are always rumours and whispers floating around any business, especially when said business is in the public eye as much as football.
And there will always be people that let nefarious leaks out, if often to serve their own purpose.
But the idea that Lange and therefore were still backing Frank isn't exactly far fetched is it?
He arguably should have been sacked at least twice before they finally gave him the Spanish archer.
Add in that Fab joined and left a couple of months later, and he definitely wanted Frank gone in December, in all seems completely plausible really.
It's not about being far fetched as any rumour seems plausible in isolation. It's the sheer volume and the way that the conjecture is used as a stick to beat guys like Lange. It's like listening to Trump say something is true when you know it blatantly isn't. It then becomes true because that p_rick said it in the eyes of the gullible majority.
In corporations you have to work from the inside out on this stuff. For Spurs, it should start with the manager, the players and the immediate leadership team of Vinai, Johan etc. If info is getting out from any of them then they need to be identified and reminded that our culture will not tolerate it. It should also be contractual where possible.
