I aint no Sheikh-but lets talk weather

i was moaning to a colleague in Delhi how hot it had been - he said it was 50 there.

Too hot to go out. He hails from the Himalayas but said he has acclimatised.
I don't think anyone can acclimatise to 50 °C. If the body goes above 44 °C, or so it is fatal. Add in a bit of humidity, and much lower temperatures can kill (wet bulb).
 
90% chance of El Nino returning by the end of the year.

Usually this plays out as being wetter for us....the excessive heat events from this tends to be Eastern and some Southern areas of Europe.
