Hugo Lloris

Did anyone see Southampton v Saudi Sportswashing Machine? Compare Krul's slow movement, for Elia's first strike, to Lloris's save against Sunderland. A difference in class. And to think people want us to sign Krul if Lloris goes.

goalkeepers are an underrated species, that save at the end won us the match, we'll miss him next season

to be fair, if Graham puts it in the corner it is in. Hats off to Hugo though, he's a match winner.

Rare poor rebound for the big chance for Graham (wasn't it) yesterday, but otherwise very good again.

Not loving when he plays the balls to Walker for what are essentially 50/50 duels in the air against opponents inside our half. Walker wins most of them, but just seems risky.

We're much better than last season at giving him the short options (two centre backs, one of the deep midfielders) and it's masking some of his distribution problems quite nicely I think.

Top class overall!

Couple of important saves today, this one at the end securing us the 3pts =D>

It was too near Lloris. I would have been disappointed if Lloris had not saved it. But credit to Lloris for reacting that fast to save it.

Stopping the shot you would expect of most professional GKs.

But the technique to have control over the and push it away and totally out of danger is what he is so good at.

Van den sar was also a master of that

almost cost us moments earlier though by not doing that

Roma have been taken aback by Tottenham Hotspur’s asking price of €30m for Hugo Lloris after they enquired about the availability of the Frenchman.

The Italian giants are looking to sign a top class goalkeeper to boost their options and have been scouring the transfer market for potential targets.

The Giallorossi zeroed in on Tottenham goalkeeper Lloris and wanted to take him to the Stadio Olimpico in the summer.

They also made an initial enquiry with Tottenham about the availability of the Frenchman to lay the ground for a bid, but were taken aback by the price quoted for Lloris.

According to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, Spurs have asked for a transfer fee of €30m to sanction Lloris’ sale at the end of the season.

Roma are not in a financial position to afford Lloris and were prepared to pay around €20m plus performance based bonuses for the French international.

Lloris is crucial to Tottenham’s plans for the future and the club have quoted such a large fee to scare off Roma from making a move for him in the summer.

Roma continue to search the market for a top class custodian and are also tracking Chelsea’s Petr Cech, who lost the race to be the club’s number one goalkeeper to Thibaut Courtois this season.
