I’d imagine the atmosphere would have changed considerably if Frank has gone by then and tickets won’t be as readily available as they are now
I always remember my first trip to the Lane. Ipswich Town 1-1 (Mar 94)
Got up one Saturday morning and thought, sod it, I fancy going to a Spurs game, got the 8.40am train to Euston and then Underground to Seven Sisters
Never even thought you might not be able to pay on the gate, like you could at Lower league grounds
As it was, managed to pay at the turnstile and ended up in the Lower East Stand, right behind one of those supports
No chance it would happen now
They've cancelled the 8.40 ?
If it is more difficult to pass on away tickets have to see if the points needed for away games comes down next season assuming we are still in the PL.Email saying they are removing the static QR code from next season from the digital pass. iPhone will only have NFC while android will have an rotating QR code still.

Away tickets are issued by the home club though, so it all depends on whether other clubs adopt the same ticketing technology. If it is more difficult to pass on away tickets have to see if the points needed for away games comes down next season assuming we are still in the PL.
To add to my post - thinking about it, most PL away games I have been to this season (which have been most) have been entry via NFC code rather than QR codes. But I still hear people talking about getting tickets from someone else, so no idea how that all works.Away tickets are issued by the home club though, so it all depends on whether other clubs adopt the same ticketing technology.
Looks like a lot of clubs will be adopting something similar if it is a PL directive, don't do away matches myself so not that bothered , don't even use a phone to get in at WHL got a stadium photo pass so much easier than a phone.Away tickets are issued by the home club though, so it all depends on whether other clubs adopt the same ticketing technology.

Of course. Not really thinking it through. So still won’t make any difference with away tickets.Anyone can save an away ticket to their wallet - you just forward on the email and they can open the link to download
