This just makes me even less motivated to tune in to the WC

FIFA really is that much much of a scam that I can almost believe that the last World Cup was fixed for a Mbappe v Messi final. It’s an utterly ludicrous concept but I can’t help thinking it’s feasible.

Probably just Trump putting a bit of pressure on Infantino to ensure his favourite player will be present for the entire tournament. And Infantino bending over, of course.
Sponsors and broadcasters aswell. Lets not pretend this is anything new. This goes back to the original ronaldo (probably further). They are the stars and what people want to see.
