** FA Cup 4th Round - Tottenham Hotspur v Emirates Marketing Project **

Could have been through a few times if our players “cough Kulu and Johnson cough” released the ball.

Udogie immense, PEH really good in possession. Need more from Kulusevski and Bentancur, and Maddison on for Johnson.

We've coped ok but a bit tentative, and not willing to play in Werner / Johnson. Could be decided by who's better out of De Bruyne and Maddison.

We look rusty.

We should have gone for some warm weather training. They look fresher with better passing.
It's not because they went to warn weather training. They ARE better passers of the ball than us. They are better passers of the ball than virtually everyone in Europe. We aren't even playing with our first choice midfield. What did you expect? 😂

Passing hasn't helped us. It's either to feet, or behind, meaning we slow down or stop any attack. Or it's far too far forward.

We need Maddison in there just to start linking up with the forwards.

VDV and Udogie have been great at the back. Thought Hojbjerg has payed well (some good passing when they don't press him)

Kulu has been on a bit of an odd one, not releasing the ball at the right time and things not coming off.

Both Johnson and especially Werner could be reasonably disappointed, both making great runs but not being found. You'd have to think of Maddison was in there we'd be finding the forwards......

PEH has been fairly immense as had Udogie and everyone is doing well defensively. Feels finely poised after weathering the initial storm. I wish I could enjoy this game as it's a real high quality chess match despite not exactly having a deluge of chances.

Hojberg has been fine for sure

Is it clear on TV (assuming your watching on TV) that they are making those runs?

I’m in the south stand and they are getting pelters… but I can see the movement. Maybe it’s just me 🤬

Take literally anyone else off for Maddison. Hojbjerg has been probably our best player that half

Didn't mean we should sub him for Maddison, I think he's been good, but ineffective in possession.

Werner in particular 3/4 times could have been put through....Not saying it's easy to do as City obviously aren't giving us much time on the ball but behind their back line is where the space is and our wide forwards can only exploit it if they are fed.

Werner has had a few runs now where he is already away from walker (?) But Kulusevski didn't play the ball and turned back.

He's been great in possession. Not perfect -- who has been -- but played some really nice balls and made some good openings (that 1-2 with Bentancur before releasing Johnson sticks out)
