Etienne Capoue

Today I met Capoue's wife whilst she was being given a tour d the ground. Very nice lady but didnt speak any English and was being escorted round by a spurs translator.

Also met AVB and Baldini. I can put photos up later. Told Avb that my baby is gonna be called Andre (my very heavily pregnant wife was with me ) and he laughed at that and said good luck.

Baldini was chatting to a guy who drove a range rover and was getting into his Ferrari. I told him I thought he was doing a gret job which he appreciated and he told me there will be more....

So as itK as you can getwithoitactually knowing anything and meeting Capoue wife is a pretty clear sign that its in the final stages

Someone said that he's in charge of security, or in charge of Levy's security or something like that. And related to (by marriage?) to Levy.

Your talking about Alan Dixon.. Levys brother in law. I actually dont think it is him though.. Maybe it is just the pic. I cant remember what his official title is but he is the go to guy for the players. Sorts out all the issues.. Ex-army..

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez. This has already been our best window for years, in fact I think it beats the Klinsmann summer post the 94 world cup. If we keep bale, we can win the title

Its scary that with the players we have signed w haven't really got going in any games pre season but I don't really mind that. Ill post the pictures of baldini and Avb later

We have had ONE game where all of our new signings have played together.

yeah I saw this......probably explains why this wasn't announced on Saturday..............

can only hope its either not true or Capoue chooses us and is too far down the line of the transfer......

bit worried now after being so close to getting him....see what later today/Monday brings I guess.

Atletico Madrid have produced a fresh bid for Etienne Capoue as they look to beat Cardiff City to the signing of the French midfielder.

talkSPORT told you earlier this week that Cardiff have already agreed a £8.7m deal with Toulouse, but the move is stalling as the player himself is holding out for a switch to the Spanish capital.

And according to reports in Spain, Atletico have now bid a fee in the region of £8m for the 25-year-old.

Capoue, who has been capped six times, has been a virtual ever-present for Toulouse since the start of the 2008/09 season.
