maybe the FIFA world cup will give them ideas of a real global competitionNBA Europe is like a minor league of the NBA by the way. It wouldn’t be an actual NBA franchise coming to London. So can’t imagine the audience interest being enough to justify 30k plus showing up.

Levy diluted by the Lewis family in ENIC according to Bloomberg.

Yeah i went to a game a few years ago and it was in the back room of a swimming pool. There probably wasn't more than 500 people there, despite some ex-NBA players featuring doing the retirement circuit

How? It doesn't launch till 2027?
I am assuming you went to a local domestic game, not the NBA Europe

I posted this in the other thread....Or doesn't have the capital to invest
It depends on how much the overall value goes up whether the value of his shares go up, even if the overall % he owns goes down.I posted this in the other thread....
He can sell his shares to whomever he wants. If someone came in at the price he wanted...the deal gets done.
Secondly, The amounts the Lewis's have put in will dilute his holding if they have converted that injection into stock. But the amount they put in is not going to shift his % downwards by much. Furthermore he potentially gets something for that injection. Obviously the 'investment' is intended to make the business better...so it becomes more valuable...so your share (even if reduced slightly) becomes more valuable.
What I guess Levy is weighing up....is he could match their investment to hold his share % as it is BUT as he has no control or active management of the club anymore will be committing £200-300m to an ongoing project that he might simply think 'is being run by idiots' ...so won't make that bet.
He's also previously had discussions with people prepared to buy the club, so will be well aware of what his percentage is worth in a buy-out.It depends on how much the overall value goes up whether the value of his shares go up, even if the overall % he owns goes down.
He wouldn't need to commit 2-300m, he'd need to invest 30% (or whatever % of ENIC that he currently owns) of the overall amount of new equity that is put into ENIC to keep his share the same.
If he thinks it's being run by idiots then he'd be cashing out. But I reckon he still sees the value increasing once we get back to the top end of the table and there's more interest in a buyout.
