This will, again, fizzle out because of technicalities, i.e, the information the investigators have is probably correct, but is obtained through "illegal" sources, such as the football leaks. They will walk free again, with everybody knowing full well they've been cheating for over a decade.

There is a reason why City don't want to cooperate, because if thay provide the truthful documentation of what they are asked to provide, it won't be helpful to them to say the least.
If they had nothing to hide, they'd just hand over everything. The fact that they don't, proves they are guilty imo.

But again, the documentation the investigation has uncovered, is probably obtained in such a way that City can challenge it and infinitely delay it.

This isn't going to court. It's going to an independent advisory panel appointed by the prem. Unlike with uefa city can't appeal to cas and there is no time limit for charges. It doesn't matter where the original information came for the prem to investigate, illegal or not.

No. It shouldn't depend who you are. It should be about justice and fairness.
Completely different things.
Law is a set of rules to govern and/or control a/o restrict a/o direct etc etc.
Justice is a philosophy, of which law can be used a mechanism to deliver.
But law does not deliver justice. Society determines justice and appoints people, of various guises, to adjudicate upon justice.
That's before we even get into what the social contract of law actually is, how it should be applied, to what lengths and to whom.

They'll have to have some sort of proof that the information they have is genuine and accurate.

As i said it shouldn't be. Laws shouldn't be about control. They should be about fairness and justice.

People should be free to do what they want. Laws should be there to stop your freedom impeding or harming someone elses. That's it.

Its based on information that City provided themselves so seems the clubs implicated itself in this by its own web of lies

The PL has done well in this for once, let them hang themselves whilst collecting evidence, they also never gave them a clue that they were under investigation and only told them when they published their findings, meaning no time to make up a story.

Peps backed himself into a corner with his, I asked them and looked them in the eye and will walk if they lied speech

Bravo

United have a good chance of catching them. I reckon they will. Arteta looked like he'd brick the bed at the end of Saturday's game. Arsenal are going to drop a lot of points during the run-in and United have momentum.

So even if City lose points (and I don't think that will happen) there is a back-up.

Whisper it…if WE put a run together…(the drugs are good man!)…

Please just investigate all clubs like every club.... any one cheating can go down a division ... we talk about Olympic athletes ruining moments for others when they take banned substances etc ...

It would be appropriate, yes. Chelsea have to be in that number…
