Do players get bonuses for passing the ball back to Friedel?

Bale

Sean Davis
Just wondering.

Parker in the last minute; Went all the way back and Gallas and Kaboul did it through the whole game.

whenever Man Utd players pass back to their keeper, the fans boo. We should do the same.

I can't blame Gallas and Kaboul, the players in front of them were just tinkling about and not giving them options.

Was a tiny tiny bit frustrating with Parker when we had a chance to get the ball in the box one more time.

No, they do it to pull the opposition forward, however sunderland never once crossed into our half all game, so passing it back was pointless and resulted in us losing the ball

There was one time around the sixty-minute mark when Benny walloped the ball back to him from halfway into Sunderland's half. But I think it had a lot more to do with Sunderland's rabid pressing than any desire to burden an elderly gentleman with the responsibility of playmaker as well. Sunderland closed us down, denied us options, and forced us to go back to Friedel, because if we didn't we'd lose the ball. Good game-plan and execution by them, not a lack of desire or creativity on our part. For seventy-five minutes, at least.

Why would they? They know there is NO danger when either Sandro or Parker is on the ball
