Can't block special resolutions under 25%..so a significant threshold when passed
 
Am I being thick or does this mean they are buying ENIC who are majority shareholder in Spurs but also a load of other businesses? Or are Spurs the only thing ENIC own? I thought they bought companies and sold for profit so assumed they had a portfolio, hence why Levy was left to run it as the Nepos were overseeing other businesses ENIC own.

More than likely I’ve not understood the ins and outs of it all
 
Sometimes when people cash in a lot of shares they keep a small amount just so they keep getting the annual reports and such.

Latest post suggests this is all BS though.

I don’t like the idea of consortiums myself. Better the devils you know.

What do we know though? Two thick as mince gilded cage children of a gangster inherited the club. But neither have ever had a job before, nor lived in the country since they were children. And they oversaw our worst season in nearly 50 years, where we were 2 goals away from being relegated. Better the devil we don't know!

ENIC only owns Spurs and that's all it does.

Tavistock is the restaurant and golf resort companies

The firing of Levy was insane, the guy is the greatest football chairman ever.

But with the right person in charge ENICs ownership worked, there was alignment.

Our next owners will almost certainly be asset stripping or sports washing.

If there is any fire here I expect it to be the beginning of the end of the club.

Its a Chinese guy with assets of £10b. So we're probably too small fry for asset stripping and its not a region fussed by sports washing.

Maybe we'll be 'belt and road'ed and we'll get high speed rail to right outside the stadium?

The bubble is gone, the value won’t go up.

How’s he making his money back, or what is getting out of it that is worth the cash?

Can’t say the business record of the potential new investors is instilling any confidence in me that they will act as good long-term stewards of the club.
