Bundesliga Bonestroker Thread

fudges me off no end when I see lads, and there are a lot of them, saying “Kane’s fudged Bayern coz it’s all about him” and “Spurs are a better team without Kane.”

Absolute bollox by people who can’t see beyond the “show me your medals” school of argument.

Harry Kane is a truly world class player and professional and he improves any team he plays in. I’d trade a gonad* to have him back in our team.

He might even be considered a true ballon d'or contender now he's being world class for a more fashionable team.
Said that to my dad when we watched the game. Bet he's suddenly among the top 3 for Ballon d'or, doing what he's done for about 10 seasons, but for Bayern now, and still without winning anything (probably). If they were to win the league he'd be favourite, and if they win the CL, it's a given. (or should be. Messi will probably still win it....)

Probably, I play at a higher level than Messi now :D

Leverkusen win again, coming back with goals in 89th and 91st minutes. They lead by 13pts with 7 games to go. Bayern have a game in hand, tonight against Dortmund.

I think Dortmund might have enjoyed that.

Alonso deciding to stay at Leverkusen is an interesting move. His statement that it s a good place for a young coach makes a lot of sense, but what other considerations were there? Following a legend in Klopp, Real Madrid in a couple of years?
