I've mentioned this a few times before. Davies has had a hamstring injury every season since the 21/22 season. Last season he was unavailable for close to 50 days and missed 12 of our games. Unfortunately, he is not as dependable as a 4th or 5th choice defender as some people think.
I reckon it must be hard for him having such little playing time and then having to get thrown in.

Really hope he is ok for the world cup. Would be a sad way to finish with us but he's not going to play much anyway.
From the sounds of his character. He might not play at the wc (if it's that bad). Wouldn't be surprised if they took him anyway. Not as part of the squad. But coaching role thingy.
