AI, now with added thinking. They just need to upgrade their graphing skills next.

They laughed at people in the 60s that thought a computer would one day be the size of a house. Now they will be the size of towns.

All so they know what adverts to show you.

Thiel dumped all his Ndivia stock. I wonder if he senses that the AI bubble is about to burst shortly.

It's just flattened over the last couple of months (although bouncing) I sold mine aswell. Made 20%.
Although up 1.77% today.

You have to know when to sell. It might not be because you think a bubble bursts. Just that it's not increasing in value as fast as another stock. So you swap.

I’ve recently been to a Gartner event.

The industry opinion is that companies are not yet seeing real benefit from AI adoption.

That’s a market with a correction fast approaching.

The big hope is that they can lay a load of people off apparently.
I don't see a case where it could replace a single person. But a team of people all doing the same thing could almost certainly have a few people shaved off.

I think the need to oversight is still too high to replace a team completely.

It isn't affordable yet. Key issue. If you want to use AI to reduce a workforce, and for many jobs it could easily reduce workload by over 50% just down to speed and automations. Build an API in hours is a reality right now. You could vibe code it with a devs eyes on it for debug. But again the revenue doesn't even touch the energy costs.

However I do think AI will allow us to find those energy efficiencies sooner than we think. Let's see. The next 2 to 5 years will be telling.

To a AI bubble pop in the markets. fudge knows.
