Archie Gray

And the lad needs to fecking start in central midfield FFS.
When I saw the lineup v Crystal Palace I really thought here we go and then he was started as right wing back in some sort of brick tosser football chess.

He should be central midfielder always next to Palhinha. fudge the others off. Bergvall and Maddison are the only central midfielders I have time for. Bissouma is a poor disciplined player who offers much and delivers inconsistency. Sarr is a jack of all trades that needs to find his master profession or he can go. Gallagher was a clusterfudge of a signing so far.

Could not agree more on all points.

He really does. But also possibly at CB if we stick with a back 3 and don't have Romero, Danso and VdV all available.

Our best ball playing CB after Romero and for sure we need to be able to keep and progress the ball.
But when we play with a back 3 central midfield looks even more flimsy for some reason.

I just don't fudging get it.
SET them up in the system which makes the most sense to get the best out of THEM, keep it SIMPLE, and stop pyuting square fu cking pegs in round fu cking holes!!!!!!!!
It did NOT need three games to figure that out.

Honestly you’d think that would be what they taught them on day one of football management school.
