American politics

Rename this thread Israeli/American politics thread..
Its the same thing

With Epstein and now Iran it would be harder to find a prominent right/conservative US media figure that’s not been massively critical of Trump. Fox News still tows the line and Ben Shapiros viewership has tanked.

Which is great

Most normal people knew he was a demented racist sex case before this year, shame no one else clocked on in th3 relevant numbers before that.

I get being hoodwinked by some people but Trumps politics, me talking state and absolute cnutish level of humanity has been well known and documented for decades.

Trumps success has alway been mainly due to the Democrats inability to read the room and push forward with wildly unpopular candidates and policys.

And thick cnuts who voted for someone who has been morally corrupt for the last 40 years plus. I dont buy the "its all then opposition ls fault" that seems to be the excuse made for swamper KKK types rising to the fore, rather than acknowledging racist and morally corrupt cnuts got the messiah they craved.

Sometimes its also as much to do with people like Rogan and the religious nuts realising and exposing who they were dealing with at the start rather than sucking at his teet of power.

There is an element of blame on the oppo, but its nowhere near the balance made out.

2016 was absolutely a rejection of Hilary Clinton. 2024 they ran a unelected candidate.

The US election is decided by about half a million people across 4/5 states. They are not getting swayed by Joe Rogan.

So its the opposition fault he was elected as the republican candidate??

Were you vocal agaisnt his potential election or did you just take it on the chin blaming the opposition?

The post about Joe Rogan is re: to all trunps initial supporter are now running for the hills after being massive supporters, the damage with their viewership and conspiracy theory supporters was done years ago. If you dont think Rogan Tucker and the fat headed Sandy Hook cnut impacted results then you are just dumb.

Joe Rogan has 11m followers

Tucker 22m

Jones 4m

Don't tell me with a straight face these idiots didnt influence votes with their bile.

Means nothing now coming back saying "we were wrong" whilst blaming the left.

Take some ownership that maybe his supporters got if fcuking wrong

I think there's considerably more...

By 2016, the public had been weaponised against any notion of critical -or reasonable- thinking via a sophisticated realisation (and weaponization) of social media as the direct route to people. Furthermore, the understanding that attention spans were short and meme culture/sloganeering King. I have said it many many times and said it at the time, the way Farage and UKIP ran the Brexit campaign was the final stage-setter/confirmation that such a brazen approach could work.

I don't disagree that the complacency and perceived aloofness of Clinton's 2016 campaign contributed, it absolutely did, but make no mistake, I believe it was a carefully coordinated 'perfect storm' of anti-Clinton, anti-left, 'they're taking your brick', 'elites need to go and we need to take charge and rewrite the rules for you' plus anti-immigrant sentiments which were amplified and weaponised. 2024 was unforgivable with regards to candidacy I agree; no excuses. I can only assume, like most people, lightning striking twice was not seen and credible; a foolish error and one I felt at the time too...

Lol not sure what I am supposed to be taking accountability for here? I can’t even vote.

This is the average difference in win margains in 2016, 2020, 2024. You are talking about less than 1% of the vote totals not just population.

Michigan 45,000
Nevada 37,000
Pennsylvania 82,000
Wisconsin 24,000
187,000

Il go deeper into the voter numbers and data when I have more time if you care. But the Dems winning or losing in these 4 states is almost always down to the voter turnout. If voter turnout is high the Dems win. If voter turnout is low the Reps win. And its mostly made up of low income voters as well. Which tells you it’s based on how well the Dem candidate votes for them.

You are way too in the weeds if you think these people are voting based on podcasts and twitter bots. Nationaly sure it’s going to impact a lot of peoples decisons. But the 500k people that vote either way or chose not to vote for whatever reason its gonna have fudge all to do with that.

So its everyone else's fault for trump than those that voted for trump?

That is like saying a rape victim is complicit for wearing a short skirt

The fact your wife loves RFK and you defend her ability to judge vaccines by being the person that only administers them shows me all I need to know about your judgement,

With regards to voter issues, I agree that complaceny and low turnout in 2016 was a major issue. Too many assumed Trump could not win because too many were out of touch. Which goes back to my (IMO accurate) statement that various types of information weaponisation had taken a firm hold and were being ignored. As always, it is never just one thing.
