.....new coach....not happy with the coach.....change the coach.... breakdown with constant injuries.....etc etcRaducanu truly is one of our own!!
It's been a mad 2026 Roland Garros, with new champs for the women and men
I don’t quite know why but I really can’t take to Radicanu. I certainly don’t wish her any ill-will (or injury) but I just don’t find her very likeable.
Nick Kyrgios hates tennis & has said so numerous times. he's only interested in the money which is sad because he is a very talented player when he can be bothered. I think you are right Raducanu needs to find a coach for the long term & a good sports psychologist to help her focus. i could be wrong but i think if she got that sorted given time you'd see a different RaducanuI was cheering for her like it was Spurs when she won the US Open. Unfortunately, she just hasn't managed to build on that success at all.
It doesn't help that she's been chopping and changing coaches every few months. At some point, you need a bit of stability.
I also get the impression that some tennis players are perfectly content with being in the top 20, earning a great living, travelling the world, and enjoying the lifestyle that comes with it—fashion events, sponsorships, and so on. Nothing wrong with that, but it can feel like the hunger to become world No. 1 or win multiple Slams isn't always there. I'm looking at you, Heather Watson and Nick Kyrgios. Raducanu seems to fit that mould too.
