PDC Darts 2018; The Taylor Finale

I actually think he's possibly a bigger threat to Taylor in this game than MvG would've been. Going to be very interesting.

He has no fear mate and also he has no scars from being beaten so he can go in after a days rest and give it a good go.

Taylor wont average 100+ over that long format, if Cross hits 101-105 he will walk it in my opinion

:)

Wish I had followed your tip

Haha, to be honest it was not as an outside tip as maybe it looks, he was a form horse coming in, I suppose only question marks was his ability to do it over a long format, in all his other events it was mainly best of legs.

I've had a feeling for Taylor in this one ever since Blackpool. I couldn't believe the bookies were offering around 12/1 on him, wish I'd got in at that price, I intended to just never got around to it...:D

Saying that, as I said earlier I think Cross represents a bigger threat to him than anybody except a 100% Van Gerwen (who hasn't turned up in that kind of form). You can make a strong case for either man, Taylor for his doubling, experience and the fate factor, Cross on pure form and lack of fear as @Grays_1890 said. It's damn close to 50/50 for me, forced to go one way or the other I would probably edge to Cross on momentum, but as I've been saying the whole tournament...it would highly stupid to write off Taylor!

Saying that, as I said earlier I think Cross represents a bigger threat to him than anybody except a 400% Van Gerwen (who hasn't turned up in that kind of form). Yeh I see where you are coming from.

I will watch it now for sure, I love the darts but an MVG Taylor final would be my worst fears, hate them both, respect them but they show no humility in the game. I get they are good and have to be bullish, but away from the board they are the same and its just abit too much for me.

Bookies can't split them, the site I just looked at has Taylor as a fractional favourite but effectively, it's 50/50.

I need TP for my bunghole!

Cross is bossing it so far. Be fitting for him to beat Taylor and become the new force in darts.

Hopefully Taylor can get back into it, still a way to go yet you'd think.

3-0, becoming an absolute hiding. 9-2 in legs? Taylor isn't even getting shots at doubles.

If Taylor can turn this around and win from here it might rank as his best ever. I can't see it though...

Cross looks every bit the ruthless champion that Taylor used to be, awesome.

Taylor looks like he knows he's beaten imo.
