He's tackled no better than any of the rest of our midfield regularly do. Certainly no better than Winks or Dembele.

Lucky win for us, but they all count! Great to get three points before the international break. Palace did us time and again by lumping it out on the wings. Defensively we looked not so great on more than a few occasions today. But hey, you can't win with style every time. 3 points in the bag.

I'm yet to be convinced that 352 is the way forwards against some teams. Yes our team was massively depleted today, but the pattern of play was poor and we were extremely bad defensively.
Aurier and Sanchez had a rough time. I do wonder if we would be better throwing Dier out to that side as he has done a job at RB in the past and would probably suit it, although his reading of the game today did justify Poch's selection.
+1 for Gazza getting MOTM. Some shaky moments, but more than made up for it with those game winning saves.
