Saudi Sportswashing Machine for Sale.....

This could be brilliant entertainment watching Rafa blow half a billion and Saudi Sportswashing Machine remain on the same level as West Ham and Stoke.

Half a billion in today's market considering they would be buying unproven players or aging ones (the top players won't leave for a project) won't get them top 4 but it will improve the side.

Throwing money at it takes a long time and people compare it to city. City have Manchester which is a much more attractive proposition than Saudi Sportswashing Machine, although Saudi Sportswashing Machine do have a better manager in place than they did

There was talk of moving their training ground down south to attract players which may work

And they may suddenly unearth some hidden gems

Appears to be on.

Emirates Marketing Project model with tweaks for FFP.

£300m available for Rafa in January.

Manchester or Saudi Sportswashing Machine, good GHod what a choice. I would rather live in a box in Hull.

Whether there a huge warchest to blow on transfers would completely depend on who the investors are. Not all money coming from the Middle East isn't bothered about financial returns. The Man C example is one where it is purely a plaything for rich owners however until its clear who Ms Staveley is going to introduce to acquire Saudi Sportswashing Machine, its difficult to say what the impact will be. Granted, all new owners make some cash available in order to try to please the fans, but if the buyer is an investment firm/private equity/sovereign wealth fund etc, there will some expectation of the returns it will generate. If its an individual billionaire, then perhaps the x hundred £ might be true - need to see who the actual buyers are though

I think they would be better off swapping places with Celtic, they would be a lot nearer most of the teams they play and they would win the league every year, Celtic could have their dream and find out reality hurts.
