Danny Rose

His apology is pure spin demanded by the club and written by his agents which allows Poch to say "he was wrong, he apologised, our focus is on the Saudi Sportswashing Machine game"

Totally this. Put out just to spare Poch a bit in the press conference.

I have just seen it described as a "grovelling apology". Ha.
He's not apologising for what he said, just the timing and the manner in which he said it. Seems more like a grudging apology than a grovelling one.

Yea, but more importantly it puts to bed this notion that the sun are spinning this morning that's he's somehow leading a revolt against the club, backed by the squad. If that was true this statement would never have been released.

The scum have swapped Lacezette for Giroud, Still have doubts over Ozil and Sanchez and could lose Chamberlain and Perez.
Chelski have swapped Morata for Costa , Bakayoko for Matic, Rudiger for Ake, shifted most of their backups out.
Pool have got Salah as a backup for Mane, but have lost Leiva who seemed to fill in a lot of gaps for them over a season

Utd and City have both strengthened a lot, but there are still questions over City's defence

Rose is a massive body blow but he wasnt fit anyway, hasnt played since Jan. IF we could get in 4 bodies, New RB, Barkley, Sessengnon, New 3rd Keeper then id say we should still be able to hold our own

Hmmmmm…. Arsenal still have Giroud as well as Lacazette don’t they?.... or have I missed him being sold? They also still have both Ozil and Sanchez. They also still have Chamberlain don't they? Won't it be Perez who will be the one getting replaced with the Lacazette purchase? Arsenal have also added Kolasanic (who as I stated when we were linked) I think is a very good player and one who looks tailor made for Premier League. As things stand they are stronger.

Chelsea – I agree with. Merely replaced departing players with alternatives.... Although they still actually have Costa don't they? (which might actually be a bad thing as opposed to a good thing).

I don’t feel that Liverpool will miss Leiva. That is probably on a par with us losing Onomah. Won't they also have Sakho back?

As you say both City and United have strengthened.

We are the only top 6 club who at this stage of the window have definitely weakened via Walker being sold and not (yet!) replaced with nobody else brought in to the club. We're top of the balance sheet league however!

Lets actually look at Danny Rose time line:

- Middle of road player not finding his way, looking average and on his way out

- Two good seasons under Poch - Rewarded with a new contract

- Half a good season - Expects a pay hike

So he was rewarded for his performances in the first instance, has he done enough for another bumper rise?
The middle of road player thing until Poch is a fallacy. He has improved under Pochettino due to gaining more experience in the position and also due to our team having a much more defined pattern of play and a more organised defensive structure overall. However it was clear that Rose was already a very good player.

Pretty demeaning for him to have to do it, all the same, after all his tough talk.

Rose himself credit Poch for this....Just going by what he said and also what I saw with my eyes, he came on leaps under Poch

He may or may not be right about what he said, however running to the press and shouting his mouth off was WRONG and i think most reasonable folks who agree with that. If he was unhappy here and wanted out put in a fudging transfer request not run telling tales to the gutter press. And has for what Spurs fans have been saying all summer well that's a red herring, most fans who i know and have spoken too think Rose is a dingdonghead for doing what he did.
We have no idea what has happened behind closed doors here. Maybe he or his agent have already spoken to Levy to air his grievances? Maybe he has already spoken to Poch? Maybe he has been told he has no chance of a pay rise and that players will not be coming in? Maybe there is frustration in the dressing room and he is the 'shop steward'?

We have no idea here what has happened, but we should definitely be concerned that it has happened as we have already lost the best right back in the league. Losing the best left back in the league as well cannot be considered to be a good thing.

He credits Poch for helping him to improve. He wasn't a middle of the road player though, that is fallacy. He already had all of the attributes.... just needed polishing. Exactly the same as Ross Barkley does IMO.

He had one season under Sherwood where he was an ok player, its not a fallacy to say Poch turned him into a top quality player.

Season tickets issues
Ticket pricing
Signings
Juve friendly
Lack of signings
Season ticket issues? What were they?
Ticket pricing?.... The same as WHL?
The Juve friendly put on by a separate company where we were merely the team hired to appear?

The last one I'll give you, but it's hardly a shambles!

why do Chelsea want Rose when they Marcos Alonso ?

They must need some cars valeted?

Because they can. Because there's no end to how many players they want to buy. I mean...how can Conte possibly expect to compete without an unlimited number of players available? Poor sod might have to work with the players he have, maybe even have to come up with a bit of tactics to bring out the best in his players.
