Kyle Walker

This is true but these were concentration issues that Poch cured. Trippier does not have the physical attributes Walker has and they can't be learned. I think we will regret this move big time.

Poch / Levy did the right thing for the future of this club.

People saying Trippier is a better attacking option than Walker are taking a big leap of faith imo. I like Trippier's delivery but Walker's attacking drive in general is hard to replace.

I have a feeling we will now use Dier for defensive RB cover in a 442 and maybe Sissoko for right wing back cover.

Unless he breaks his leg in his first match, there's no way you can't regret selling the best player in the world in his position to your main league rival (position wise)

I am angry at Walker if this is true. This is the first time a major club has attempted to buy him and yet he jumps ship. I will be thinking back to the last games of the previous season and his performances. Soldier come, soldier go - barrack remains.

Chelsea were in for him 2 or 3 summer ago

Well that remains to be seen. Hopefully it works out but the way I see it is that we have weakened our team and strengthened theirs.

I wonder is there a few sneaky clauses to do with Sancho and/or Iheanacho in the small print.

I honestly think they know how to "behave"......big players have been moving from big clubs before this summer, honest.

But Walker seems to have had an easy getaway......tell Poch you want to move and within a few months your wish is granted.

If true I say good luck to Kyle and we move on.
Poch started to move Walker on some months ago IMHO.
Trippier has been very good for the last block of games.

Poch has never been interested in transfers, he's a coach. We need a DoF if we're going to start buying to try and grow again.

But we are going to spend this money:confused:

if he is not interested in transfers he would simply squirrel this money away and make do with what we have and the kids coming through. But he won't.

If he is not interested in transfers why did he sign Wanyama and Alderweireld for example.

City are about to sign Mendy for the LB role too for 40m.

They were seriously struggling for a top drawer right back and we incredibly just gave them one. We should be looking to fudge them up, not bloody help them. And the fee is meaningless in the money world football now lives in.

Might as well personally hand City the league title Levy, well done mate!

I am as sad as anyone that Walker has left as imo he was the best RB in the Prem and as good as Trippier is he is not in the same class, but your bit in bold is way over the top, get a grip of yourself and stop acting like a spoiled child.

I honestly think we are reading too much into this. Kyle fancied a move for better money, we had cover. Sorted

I doubt we will ever know all the ins and out of the Walker move.
Kyle gets his wage increase and we get a good fee!
We move on....

Feck off.. there will be everyman and their dog know that know the truth. Hell one will even call himself the goat and bleed some bullocks to go with it.. :0

Every paper will have a contradictory story that someone somewhere will believe

What matters is we move on now as you say and we move on and upwards

Whether the sale is the right thing or not, all depends on who we can sign as a replacement for Walker. Whoever it is that we sign, they don't need to come in and perform from the first game as we have Trippier who's very decent. But we need another player who has Walkers power and pace to complement Trippier.

Kyle Walker-Perters might be in Pochettino's thoughts, he's not shabby by any means.

Jermaine Jenas said at the time. It's because he found out at England camp that Ryan Bertram was earning twice what he was. Essentially his agent ballsed up his last big contract last summer

Did Jenas not say, 'if I was X player, I'd be wondering what Clyne is on?'

Is Bertrand really on that much more than Walker, at Southampton?
