*** OMT TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR v Southampton ***

I'm popping over from LA for the weekend (dad's leukemia has flared up - prognosis is good, but nonetheless) but time allows me to make my first visit to The Lane for 20+ years. And my last visit too - the first was '76 when we beat... we beat... we beat Southampton 3-1!!!

I love you all, even the wind-up toss bag trolls.
good luck with your old man...

Despite our tremendous home form this season, I can see us not winning this game. We'll miss Kane and Gabbiadini has perfectly joined Saints. I predict 1-1, but hope for the better outcome.

My provider is BT, I have noticed lately that acest.ream links are less reliable than they used to be -- I think they are phucking with them at my end, somehow. But now there are some flash links that are just as good quality (not cack like they used to be).

the 'verified' links have been really good for me.

As for the game, team picks itself. 4-0 win, Son with a double.

Gabbiadini at this stage would be useful to have given Kane's injury.

Son at this stage would be useful to have given Kane's injury. Oh wait. We have Son.

Gabbiadini has looked useful for sure. But he's 25 and has never scored more than 10 goals in a single season. I know he's played in other roles than as a striker before, but then again so has Son.

There have been a ton of strikers that have started hot in the PL only to fade and look far from good enough for us. What sets Gabbiadini apart from those?

If Southampton had Son and Gabbiadini in their squad, who would start on Sunday for them? Who would we worry more about of the two?

Its what I've said a lot already. If does it for over 18 months then wow he is the man

Son for me. He is simply under appreciated by some on here.

As you will remember mate, Son started really well for us then had a dip in form last season after his injury. This season he has been excellent. Surely no one can argue otherwise. Without a doubt we will miss Kane partly because he offers much more than just goals. But with Alli and Son in the team and perhaps Janssen gaining a bit of confidence I am hoping we can cope with Harry's loss against the "weaker" teams.

Anybody know what is up with Walker, came back from his day off with an ankle injury apparently and Poch said its a private matter

Just seen the team news

Walker, Demble, Wanyama all doubtful

Lame, Rose and Kane obviously we know

This is going to be a massive test to our unbeaten WHL record run

Walker suffered an ankle injury at home on Monday. Will be assessed ahead of Sunday. #thfc according to Tom Allnutt of the Press Association

Just seen the adorably cute photos of animals

Dembele apparently fine. Walker and Wanyama have minor knocks; will be amazed if all three don't start on Sunday

If necessary, Trippier comes in for Walker and Winks for Dembele. Really hope Wanyama is fit though.

Lloris
Trippier Toby Verts Davies
Dier Winks
Ali Eriksen Son
Janssen

Worst case - Think it will be very tight and nervy 1-0 with a Janssen goal

not too fussed on Walker, Trippier is a very good replacement and similar. Wanyama is needed, he has been brilliant this season. Dembele will be fine.

first weekend of new initiative to shut down St.reams this weekend could be difficult and may need a VPN in the future.

If all those players were out, I'd go:

-------------lloris
----toby---wimmer---vert
trippier--dier----winks---davies
--------eriksen----dele
-------------son

Will see how it goes, heard this a few times in the past though and there's still more str.eams than ever.
