Can Saudi Sportswashing Machine finish 3rd?

I have been impressssed with Cabaye from day one and would love to have him here. But why would any player join Spurs. Our marketability is dropping like a stone too. If Levy doesn't realise that it's more than CL money we are losing then he is not the chairman I thought.

Fair play to Saudi Sportswashing Machine. Good players playing for their manager goes a long way. If we don't get CL (waits for laughter to die down) then I hope they do.

The Geordie fans don't deserve it. They've laid into Pardew from day one and slagged the chairman. Now they are where they are they always lied them and Greg turns up again. 5-0.

They've been at 90% capacity most of the season. I respect the run they're on. But Geordies are scum, worse that scousers in terms of inbred qualities. The women are proper skanky slags as well, decent night out mind for pulling dirt, the locals are zero competition.

They have to play Wigan, Chelsea and Everton away, with City at home. I think they'll come 5th at best...

Greg being in such a good position now, would you consider it a failure if you didnt get top 4 this year?

I think they will beat Wigan. City at home... well they could beat them for sure. Saudi Sportswashing Machine turned Utd over 3-0 lets not forget.

Saudi Sportswashing Machine are a good side, and have peaked at the perfect time. That is what buying at the right time can do for you. That and Pardew's effective management of Ben Arfa, who has been like another signing for them. If they get top 4 over the course of the season then they deserve it.

100% agree. Good team peaking perfectly. Love the blend of French flair and African power. Geordies are in bred cu*ts though.

Wigan away at this stage of the season is never easy, City aren't just going to give up even if the title race is over by the time they play Saudi Sportswashing Machine, Chelsea and Everton away speak for themselves... Saudi Sportswashing Machine are good but they aren't that good, beating United 3-0 doesn't change anything.

We'll come above them as long as we aren't utter brick for the last 4 games. We haven't actually been playing all that badly, Norwich was the only really shocking result recently. But if we can't get 9 or 10 points from Blackburn, Bolton, Villa and Fulham then we really don't deserve to be in the CL and Redknapp really is a total ****.

Harry has a point with his comments after the QPR game - we just need some breaks. We nearly always win when we take the lead. But since the collapse at Arsenal we have only taken the lead in 2 games - Swansea and Bolton, both games we won 3-1. Teams just know if they take the lead the can shut up and pick us off. But we are not suited at all to chasing a game, we need a bit of space to attack and the only way to create that is to score first - look what we did to this supposedly mighty Saudi Sportswashing Machine team at home with a couple of early goals.

Obviously if they come 4th they deserve it, but to be honest I can't see it happening unless they play out of their skins in each of their last 4 matches. It's comparable to our run-in in 2010 when we came 4th by beating Arsenal, Chelsea and City. 9 times out of 10 we wouldn't have done so well, and I think Saudi Sportswashing Machine face a similar struggle to come 4th let alone 3rd. We managed to do it, there's obviously a chance they will to, but it's highly unlikely in my opinion.

What I'm saying is it would be no surprise that a team that is flying like Saudi Sportswashing Machine right now, could quite easily win those games as much as they could lose. They have belief. Something we are clearly now lacking.

It's weird, I'm actually starting to feel for Harry. He cannot seem to turn the corner. He's a wily old cat whose been around the block. Usually a couple of inspirational talks and the old arm around the shoulder works. He genuinely looks like he is scratching his head and his world is caving in.

He's no tactical mastermind. But he's not an awful manager either. It's not as simple as employing a thought provoking scientist like AVB, who simply cannot motivate his players. You need to be able to do a bit of everything.

Agreed, I just want to keep telling myself and everyone I know that Spurs are still a great team who are going to be in the CL next year, it makes me feel better despite knowing we're 5th, and plotting Saudi Sportswashing Machine's path to finishing below us is a part of that!
