Particularly as from what I've seen he is better than any of their other forwards

His greatest strength is his self belief which is important in a centreback. He spent his career playing for teams with little expectation other than survival it will be interesting to see how he copes at a big club. My thoughts as well, he has determination and is not afraid of putting his body into a tackle but he is over rated IMO
 
Bournemouth are signing Marc Wilson from Stoke for £2m. Deal could rise to £4m.

Yannick Bolasie to have Everton medical before £25m move from Crystal Palace.

Aston Villa expect to complete the signing of Mile Jedinak from #cpfc in the next 48 hours. Patrick Bamford could join on loan.

Burnley apparently close to signing Westwood from Villa, soon as Jedinak is sorted.

Tony Pulis fears West Brom are ‘stagnating’ and demands new signings. Walkout imminent.

Arsenal continue to have their sights onReal Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez, according the the Telegraph.

The 25-year-old, who has been with the Spanish giants for two years following his £63 million switch to the Bernabeu, appears to have fallen down the pecking order of boss Zinedine Zidane.

So the Arsenal team is screaming out for a striker and a defender, and wenger decides to fix it by buying yet another atacking midfielder. Well, trying to i suppose.
 
Are we actually being linked with anyone right now? Not suggesting we need a load of new players but seems oddly quiet for Spurs at this time of year.

Just the Nkoudou and Njie swap deal, and maybe the Espanyol GK if Vorm goes to Celtic.

I think we've done all our key business nice and early. The rest of the window will be about shifting the four players who quite purposely seemed to be left off the bench on Saturday (Bentaleb, Chadli, Carroll and Yedlin)

That would be ok, ideally with the Fulham youngster signed and loaned back as well. At the start of the window we needed a CM, CF and attacker so would have covered the main three gaps. Can't ask fro much more
