***OMT: Mighty Spurs vs. Manure***

Have to say I thought Alli left his leg dangling and looked for the contact then went down. Was a fair booking and I thought his reaction in the interview afterwards fit quite well with that.

I think this is worth watching. He gets to the ball first, his foot is taken out, I genuinely do not think he left a leg dangling, I think he just got there quicker than Darmian and thus the contact was drawn. One thing with Alli is that whenever he's been booked he doesn't kick up a fuss - I think it's something the coaching staff have drummed into him?

Never a dive in a hundred years, and personally, I think it's a clear pen.

This is the game I most look forward to as Utd are the team I dislike the most, I have family who are S/T holders and for years I heard nothing but how great they were under Fergie. I want to win this game more then any.

Well we did it 15 years and we finally managed to beat the brick out of the " red devils" at the Lane. I walked out of the game yesterday horse and floating on air. As I said in the earlier post I lived and worked for a while in M/C and have family members who are season ticket holders and had to put up with their brick and how good they were over the Fergie years. Funny enough I can not seem to get through to them on the phone since getting home.

We finally got we deserved out of a game against them and it was absolutely brilliant. Lloris had one of the less work games he has had this season ( one save), Walker and Rose run them ragged down the flanks, it was great to see Jan and Toby once again prove ( imo) they are the best CB partnership in the Prem ( and the best we have had for many years). Wimmer has done great since he came into the team but ( imo) Jan is the better player and I do not think it a coincidence that Toby was able ( and) was pushing forward more knowing that Jan was behind him.

In Lamela and Eriksen we have two of the hardest working CM players in the Prem, the last player who I can think of who worked as hard as Lamela was Perryman and Eriksen is CLASS and its hard to believe that he has just turned 24 and how good this guy could/will be when he gets to his peak.

Alii did not have one of his best game but scored the goal that really mattered and he is another one who has a great future. Kane was not really in the game but as usual he was another one who worked his socks off and gave Smalling a hard time.
Great result :)

As with @parklane1 its also taken me 15 years to finally put to bed my worst footballing moment. I was sitting in the wheelchair enclosure to the side of the goal that we scored our 3 goals in with my Son then 15 for the infamous 3-5 home defeat in 2001.

Yesterday was so sweet

That's what sides do when they are are top.Remember man ure and chelski doing that for a number of years.....play average for 70 minutes then boom,3-0 up,how many times have we been on the recieving end of that score line.

Quality especially Eriksens cross for Alli goal.....

Ericksen was outstanding yesterday.............

Was surprised to see Vertongen back so quickly. Felt sorry for Wimmer, but good to see Jan back and looking good.

I think everyone's get a bit precious. Man Utd are a bigger club than us, anyone who thinks different are deluding themselves. They have won more, have a bigger stadium, more fans (no matter where they live) and more money. The challenge is a difficult one to call, is it more difficult to get the current Man Utd to win the CL than get us to be a regular top 4 side? I would love to see us reach the level of domination they had when Fergie was there.

Boom boom, shake shake the room!

What a bleeping fantastic result!

POCH-ET-TEEN-OHS BLUE AND WHITE ARMY!!

Great to see Lamela get his goal!
Great to see Alli play average and still step up to the plate an hit 'em when neccesary.
Great spirit to stand up to them when they started showing some thuggery near the end (imo).
Great to only give them one shot on target OVER THE TWO GAMES!
Great to see that Lloris making the move to them is now an even bigger pipe-dream (won a bet on that one last August which i still need to collect: ching-ching!)
Great to see we have several avenues to hit and hurt teams: no goals from Kane but all of the 3 behind him involved with the goals.
Great to see our little Dane peaking at the right time: imagine if ALL FOUR of the attacking quartet are peaking at the right time?
Dembele, Dier: BOSSES!!
Defence: THOUGH SHALT PASS; Welcome back Vertonghen (and unlucky Wimmer as well)

Bring on Stoke; we win that game, the title might be ours.
COYMFS!
