Not exactly the same, but I was in the kop for a Liverpool Spurs match a good few years ago and I had to camouflage myself with applause and a few moans at the appropriate times. And then stay quiet as a mouse when Spurs equalised (an o.g. by Rudduck if memory serves) :D

Did the same on my first ever Spurs match(14 at the time). Right at the back of the Kippax at Maine Road with all the City fans, having to politely clap as City banged in 5 goals ( we were pants, went down that season)
Eventually we got a corner with about 5 mins to go, felt brave enough to cheer and all these blokes around me started patting me on the hand saying 'Good lad' and having a laugh. Cant imagine that happening these days though

Agree but he was complimentary about the Lane do clearly knows his onions

I'd love the new ground to be 4 individual sides like some grounds in Germany. Each one with their own character. I know our design is pretty much formalised but that would have been class

Now at least we can see some real progress on the site! Or at least more notable things, as they have now started pouring on the bottom concrete slab, which is the foundation on which the reinforced concrete floor will sit.
