no matter your opinion on him as a player. I still beleive these last two months he would have been a decent option on the bench in certain games. I really dont understand why he has been frozen out to such a degree. If its true that his attitude has been good since then why has he not made a squad.

It feels to me like something stronger was said for the amount of action that has been taken since.

He does need to leave and if its 12m that is a decent amount for him.

Who would you have dropped from the bench to accommodate him?

I'm sure that Pullis is putting pressure on West Brom to sell. What I don't get is why leaking Poch's request for us to accept a lower bid for Townsend would have any bearing on this.

They will always be separate deals - too many people would lose out on a slice of the pie otherwise - the above is as close as you'd get to one though

Vorm moved to Tottenham at the same time Wales defender Ben Davies joined Spurs from Swansea in a 10 million pound swap involving midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Swansea say was the swap was separate from Vorm's transfer, but Utrecht are questioning why the keeper, who had two years left on his contract at the time, was given a zero value in the transaction.

Utrecht are claiming a sell on fee for Vorm. The hearing at CAS starts on Friday. The case does not involve Spurs in any way, just pointing out that officially there was a swap deal.

We also swapped Zamora for Defoe, though I think that was also done in a dodgy way, ie.canceling his contract .

Good luck to him, I give him his due for trying his best to earn a place in the side and never moaning about being on the bench etc. Even after his spat with a coach and being dropped from the first team squad completely, he kept his head down and got on with it. He's a proper Spurs boy, I wish him well (just not when he plays against us!)
