If England decide not to use him I'm sure he'll go down that path along with the rest not good enough for England.
I'm not saying he's not good enough by the way just a dig at all those not good enough for England who get out the family tree and realise their nans cat was Scottish or dog was Welsh!
Maybe but the hype is coming from a section of our fans no? I've yet to hear opposing fans even mention his name.
Granted he's getting a bit of attention from the red tops.

I am concerned about this for a reason. Agbolahor, Nedum Onouha, Ugo Ehiogu are just a few of the names that were persuaded to wear the Lions shirt instead of the Eagles. They have since been discarded meanwhile they could have had a longer international career with the Eagles. People like Barkley who was also eligible for Nigeria appear to be doing quite well with the Lions as well on the flip side. Victor Moses appears to have done well with Nigeria as well. I dont know what is the reason but players like Dele Alli, Onomah, Oduwa and Akindayini (left Spurs to Brighton) are going to be thinking about which shirts to wear and those are only the few I know at Spurs. The rest like Seyi Ojo, Akpom at Arsenal, Jordan Ibe at Liverpool havent been considered. There is a sizeable number of Anglo-Nigerian youth at the Academy levels.
Speaking of which, is there a thread on this forum that looks at the Spurs Academy/Development player - I am interested in Musa Yahaya's progress.
If they are English nationals, or born over here, it should be England or no one. That's my opinion anyway.
If you're not good enough to be picked for England then so be it that's just life but I don't agree with the family tree digging ala Vinnie Jones, Ray Houghton, Iain Dowie, Tony Cascarino etc...
I'm sure I've got some wrong ie they were born in the countries they represented but you get my point.

I think it should - it would prevent much of the minipulation for sporting reasons and be far more straight forward.
The only exception is if the parents are working abroad on a set contract and not moved permanently.
Just my option!

OK. Take my position. My girlfriend is Czech I am English. If/when we have kids they could be born in either country and I would expect them to hold dual nationality. I have no idea which country they will hold more affinity to as they grow up, I would imagine it would be a mixture of both. Should they only be able to represent their country of birth?

If the child was born in England and you all lived the majority of child's life in England then he/she is English likewise for Czech.
If born in England and then you all moved out to Czech republic for the majority of his/her life then Czech.
Oh I dont really have clue when it gets too complicated
What started me on this was on Saturday with the South African lilt I heared in Jason Roy's accent, I thought bugger me, another one. Yep born in Durban, moved with his family from South Africa when he was 10 years old. OK very plausible and OK but I dont think he should play for England.......well I think I dont anyway?
It's probably just me.....but it just seems slightly wrong.
Don't get me started on the UK football teams, with grandma's, grandfathers and the like

Maybe so. For me it's the country you're raised and educated in that you should represent. Only my opinion mind.
Funny story about that. Kid in my school English as me as were parents and grandparents etc you get the picture. Supported Holland as he liked their players more. macaron.
Get your point though if heritage is there.

Funnily enough, i was born in Nigeria but raised in England; i usually support England (i.e. when the media hype is NOT on overdrive and they are not mostly picking bell-pieces like Terry, Wilbrick etc - yeah i know...).
However, if/when they ever play Nigeria, i'd always be supporting Nigeria...

Shame. I thought I was onto something then. I was going to suggest to the other half that she give birth in Czech and that I would drive us over. I was thinking of taking it easy in the hope that she went into labour in Germany. It would be nice if a child of mine had a chance of winning something.

They move to Sweden and have a kid. when the kid is 7 move back to UK ( Scotland this time), then to Czech Republic when kid is 14.
Age 21, kid gets offered a call up - who is he eligible for?
