Son Heung-Min Signs - Official

It is possible for different people to identify the same player, besides, who is to say that there was anything in the purported interest under AVB?

Come on.. what do you believe, instead of that I will back the club no matter what balonie!

Which is more likely! You see this is exactly what I mean.. no matter what.. you go into protection mode even though more likely than not I am right than Poch has highlighted the same player as AVB.. who didn't have full control. lol

The clubs scouts identify players, do you think they just throw all those reports away and then start from scratch when the head coach changes?

Some of the things you moan about...

i haven't seen enough of this fella to say whether or not he will be a success so will give him the usual season before giving opinion. What worries me a whole lot though is that we were in for him under AVB before his move from Hamburg to Bayer. So what is behind this transfer. I was under the impression Poch was in charge of transfers, although this transfer says otherwise.

When did we play Bayer in Europe, they were really poor if I remember rightly over those two legs. We dominated both legs if I remember, although the agg score was 2-1 probably lol

Maybe we were in for him then and he simply wanted to stay in Germany at the time.

I don't believe that we have been searching around all summer for attacking players with no avail and then Poch found a piece of paper in his desk draw this morning with AVB's handwriting on it and thought "he might be worth a go".

So you agree.. its very much more likely that this is Levy than Mitchell and Poch.

I don't actually but I am also not really bothered who identified him. He's not a player that I know a great deal about, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt and if we sign him, judge him on his performances.

We did buy a Belgian and he was duff.

He actually retired last season at the age of 31 after 13 surgical procedures in 12 years. Last game he played was in August 2013.
Didn't we also have Nico Claesen in our ranks back in the 90s. One of my favorite players, although I wasn't able to follow Spurs closely enough back then to know how he did for us.

For those not familiar with the german language;

Leverkusens coach says that Son do not want to play for them anymore.

Says its a sad story who he had wanted to happen in a different way.

Yedlin to cater for the US market and Son for the Asian (might be a bit too generalising) then? I don`t know anything about Son, but he looks exciting with a good record in a good league, so propably a good prospect for our first 11 from a footballing perspective.

Although I`m absolutely certain Levy is rubbing his hands contemplating the marketing opportunities for the club too.

Son is a proper good player. One of the best attacking players in Germany. Not a t-shirt signing like Yedlin

I'm just glad we're addition pace to the side. Best fotball we've played the last twenty years was when Lennon and bale scared the **** out of the oposing team with the blistering pace they had.

No it wasn't you don't win anything with wingers these days apparently!

(I agree with you btw)

Nico played for Spurs in the late 80's and was in the 1987 team that was almost great -- League Cup Semi, FA Cup final etc. but never won anything. He was unlucky in that was the year that Clive Allen scored all the goals that our stellar midfield was laying on for him. I thought that he was great, but never got a run in the side and was frozen out once Venables came in. I saw someone compare him to rebrov, but I think that is a false comparison.
