ITK Thread

we are buying two forwards ,one mid and one winger, id say lyon and berino plus the kiev lad on wing, no idea re mid if we dont get the german kid

He did used to be ITK, or at least he did have access to the players and coaching staff at Spurs at times, but this sounds like your typical ITK going way over their knowledge.

First bit may or may have been something he's heard about our plans for the transfer window. The second bit sounds like a punt based on what's been in the press (he even says "i'd say").

Saying that, if he's right and we signed Berahio, N'Jie, Yarmolenko and Bender then i'd probably w@nk myself into a coma.

probably wouldn't go to that extreme myself but I would certainly be taking the day off work.

He's probably partly giving his opinion in that piece. But he's not your typical ITK, he barely posts-even in his prime he didn't...

Yeah I think he's genuinely ITK. What makes me laugh is that he has probably been told that Poch wants two forwards, a winger and a midfielder...but the rest is just his opinion. The thing is that he's ITK in that he has access to the players and coaching staff at least, I think it's fairly obvious that Poch wants two forwards, a winger and a midfielder. Anyone looking at our current squad would say that's what we need!

I've tried that on numerous occasions. Impossible. I ended with extreme blisters and 1 huge arm like defoe18's.

said that the deal was almost complete and Werner changed his mind . he said it was very close before and then deal died last minute due to him changing his mind

Ali Z: From what I hear Hernandez, LLorente and Austin not names mentioned.

but Stuttgart really are abysmal, every season recently they seem to be fighting a relegation battle. He probably feels that if he cant break through there yet then why move to England and try to get into a top 5 team in the PL. Thats what probably made him change his mind. Better off progressing at lowly Stuttgart for the time being.

To be fair, I'm not sure that it is the best time to be relying on very young players when you are fighting a relegation battle.... The player probably would've got more chances at Spurs by getting game time in the Europa League along with Carling and FA Cup games.

I think what has really happened here is that we have made an offer for a player that wasn't accepted by his club and we weren't prepared to increase our valuation to match Stuttgart's asking price.

Based on what (apart from a dislike of our management)?

Werner is young. Think it is just as likely that he had a change of heart about moving to a foreign country. Nick Barmby was homesick for Hull (of all goddam awful places) when he was 24 or something.
