ITK Bash Fest

I guess what is amazing is that some of the ITK seems to be kosher. Of course you can't usually tell the zhit from the gold, but isn't that the whole fun of it(k)?

Or deal with their frustrations in other ways.
 
ITK... Its like a modern day religion forming, idiots believing, wanting to believe there is something out there that gives them meaning

Not that I agree, but Poch believes he can get extreme levels out of the youngsters due to his methods, philosophy and game plan. It took me by pleasant surprise when he said they truly believe many will be surprised with who may play first few games as new players coming in will need a while to adapt and are very comfortable with the situation. The difference with the big four they pay almost double if not 50% more to get them in early, and we just cannot do that as not only would we have to pay more, but the wages would reflect that which then has a knock on effect with present playing staff as you would have to meet contract conditions and then up their wages as well. This as as good as you will get coming from very close as you can get information.

The only reason I am sharing this piece of information, though reluctant is to enlighten genuine people who love our great club on this forum.

Bold part is just a rewrite of what was speculated on in this piece from 22nd of July from the closed game vs Brentford. Winks and Dier possibly played as DM. Almost a clever way of claiming ITK...

We don't want to discourage people from slating the ITKs, as far as I'm concerned if you put yourself up as an ITK you should take the criticism along with the praise, but at the same time there are plenty of posters who want to read what's posted without having to wade through page after page of non related talk.

So in an effort to keep everyone happy this thread is stickied alongside the ITK thread so those who want to rip them to shreds can do so here, those who want to read and discuss the ITK can do so there and those of us who don't really give a fudge either way can avoid reading the same brick over and over :p

Fair enough. I only frequent this Spurs board and it tends to get a little messy this time of year. Roll on August 8th.

They may have contacts, it's very possible but the level of knowledge seems a bit too detailed. Chances are - they do have contacts and embellish their info to make it more tantalizing, they don't have contacts and make up a load of sh1te in the hope something sticks OR and it's a big OR - the club/media hire them in some format to start rumours for whatever reason?

I have very close contacts in the acting business and I hear a lot of info about famous people. But you know what? I wouldn't post it on any public forum as it's not my place to and I wouldn't want to implicate the people telling me the stories. Unless of course it's very positive and non-private info (then I may consider it). That's why I think there could be a chance that these ITKs are either hired hands or just nuts...

I've mentioned it before; Teamtalk did the same and we probably didn't complain as much. It was fun waiting for that page on Teletext/Oracle to load up so we could see some gossip. It raised conversation about said targets, some excitement and for those unfortunate enough to be too taken in - money for TT.

That is a very valid point and it true, however the difference being is that most fans knew Teamtalk was just gossip and as far as I know no one took it seriously. The thing with ITK's is that a lot of fans actually believe the brick they come out with and when most of it turns out to be gonad*s ( and it does) start bitching and blaming the club, Levy or the manager, instead of the wanabees that make this brick up.
