You've raised the Chelsea point by misunderstanding what I said. When I wrote the below I wasn't referring to Chelsea's previous meeting with Barcelona but their forthcoming one where you will no doubt blame the referee over phantom poor decisions because that's what you do, you build irrational conspiracies and refuse to admit when you are wrong.

Chelsea likely next where no doubt we'll see some more dodgy refeering decisions deny those nice boys from Fulham a deserved Final appearance against a Real Madrid team who have had the hardest route to the final ever.

I've also noted however how you fail to mention the death threats the Norwegian referee received after the match, no doubt you feel death threats are justified based on what happened. This followed the 2005 encounter when Frisk - a self confessed Chelsea supporter as a child (surely should not have been refereeing a Chelsea match no?) received death threats as well and quit the game.

Your ability to select "facts" and go on a tangent on them truly is outstanding, Barca are the qunts, Chelsea are the victims and the referees in both cases are the Barca loving idiots who invited death threats from the victims.

Ah but guys, it shouldn't happen irrespective of opponents - unless it's Arsenal. Contradiction at its best.

Death threats are unacceptable and should be dealt with by aythorities outside football and done so strictly and without compromise. I never said those are justified so please do not put words into my mouth. However - Chelsea had every right to feel robbed that evening much like any team on the planet should have. I'm not even sure how that can be an argument from an objective point of view. Did you feel we got screwed at The Britannia recently? What about the threats made to Foy?

As to their upcoming game - we cannot predict what would happen but for once I hope football wins and not bogus decisions most likely taken hunderds of miles outside the stadium and done so well in advance.
 
Two players to keep and eye on tonight - Nicolas Gaitan and Ezequiel Garay. Apparently both could be on the move this summer and either of them would improve our squad substantially, especially the latter.

If you genuinely believe match-fixing in sport is a 'conspiracy' - I've got some bad news for you

True competitive sport died in the late 70s during a certain Germany game.

Have you looked at your post count lately? I can't go into a frigging thread without you repeating yourself 100 times about the same brick over and over. It's tiring and spoiling the forum for me and therefore I choose to say something about it.

First two and last one didn't address you but clearly you knew the conspiracy bit was for your attention as that's your area of expertise.

Also you should copyright "an agreement would never be reached" as it seems you get into disagreement quite often and throw this gem every time as if you are some sort of peacemaker at the end when in fact you initiate it all to begin with.
 
I remember Barcelona coming to Spurs in 82 and being one of the dirtiest bunch of tossers I have ever seen. Players spent the night high-jumping disgraceful challenges. Lovely side these side, etc, etc, blah blah, but they are a little over-feted IMHO...hope they do the Chavs of course, but the sundaes not shine out of their collective arse; seriously, there have been many times this season when we have been every bit as brilliant to watch...

True. I heard that Barca fans regularly sing .... 'its just like watching The Spurs!'.........
 
I find them quite boring to watch sometimes. Sure, they're great at passing and keeping the ball, but sometimes when they've just camped in the opposition's half for 90 minutes passing the ball around different players, waiting for the opposition to die of boredom and go to sleep before slipping in a through ball...I don't find that as exciting as I used to. It's exciting when they're in full flow and creating loads of chances, like when they beat Arsenal in the Champions League last year, but a lot of the time it's just same brick different day.

The other thing I can't stand about Barca is some of their players. Busquets and Alves have gotta be two of the biggest dingdongheads in football, it really irritates me that they've won so many trophies. I'd love to see the look on their faces if they get beaten by Real Madrid in the final of the biggest competition of all. The only bad thing is that a Barca-Madrid final would possibly be the dirtiest, most embarrassing and most disrespectful display of cheating and foul play that the world has ever seen. They are two great football teams but they bring out the worst in each other and it would be amplified by a million if they're playing in the Champions League final.
