The NFL Thread

Belichick has previous for trying to bend the rules and come across as a dour version of Mourinho, so even if the Pats are found not guilty there's no way I'll be lending them my support!

heart stopping finish for supporters of both teams, but u don't throw from the 1 yard line

I still can't believe they called that, I can't believe anyone calls that, let alone with lynch in the backfield

Patriots with four Superbowls in the Brady era. And they have snuck most of them. They have to be one of the luckiest franchises in history. makes me want to vomit. sick of Brady and Belicheck.

also, had the hawks won last night it would have been the pats throwing it away imo, they gifted then 14 points in the first half with bone headed decisions, overall I think the better side won

The Carolina Super Bowl really could have gone either way, but they definitely deserved to beat the Rams and Eagles.

The two losses against NY were complete flukes.

You could argue Seattle lost it by not giving the ball to Lynch, but Brady threw a couple of dumb passes which led to INT's so you could just as easily say they didn't help themselves either.

Or you could say NE won it because Butler knew the play that the Seahawks were running due to hard work in the classroom watching video of there WRs and gambled and won it by intercepting.

the pats played better by the numbers football, they never lost faith in their defense, even 10 points down in the 4th you could see Patricia working and planning schemes and they were not afraid to punt, even down in the 4th

as impressive as the ballsy high risk high reward game of the seahawks has been this season sooner or later they were gonna get burned, but it was that attitude that got them level at HT so you can't criticise them for it, they still very nearly won a game in which they were, in my opinion at least, outplayed

Brady now sits alongside Montana as the best QB ever IMO. Hopefully this will put to bed the arguement as to who is better out of Brady or Peyton Manning whose record in the playoffs is terrible.

there is more to it than rings, Eli has 2 remember

Granted, but Peyton has so many sub par peformances in the playoffs compared to the regular season that for me it's impossible to put him in the same league as Brady.

If I had to pick a QB to play in a big game, it would not be Manning.

Agree, look at the last two Superbowls as exhibit A

Brady in the last 14 years has pretty much got a record of a superbowl appearance every other year!

This year they won the superbowl with the youngest ever average age as well.. 25.1yrs or something. Who is to say that 2015/16 will change.
